Toyota perkenalkan C-HR di GIIAS 2016
Kurang dari dua pekan lagi, Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2016, salah satu pameran otomotif terbesar di Tanah Air, akan berlangsung. Pada GIIAS 2016 Toyota akan menempati ruang pamer seluas 3.000 meter persegi yang, menurut Dimas, paling luas sepanjang sejarah keikutsertaan Toyota dalam ajang pameran otomotif di Indonesia. Tetapi kami yakin C-HR, yang sempat diperkenalkan Toyota dalam ajang Frankfurt Motor Show 2015, akan menjadi bintang mengingat model crossover saat ini tengah populer.
Sementara itu, untuk Indonesia, TAM menyatakan ingin melihat dulu reaksi publik atas C-HR di GIIAS 2016. Ada satu model C-HR lagi yang kemungkinan bakal diproduksi khusus untuk pasar Amerika, yaitu yang bermesin bensin naturally-aspirated 2.000cc yang diklaim bisa mencapai tenaga 147hp. .
Gaikindo Auto Show Showcases 22 New Car Models
Some of the world's leading automotive brands gathered at in Tangerang, Banten, on Thursday (11/08) to showcase 22 new models, expected to stimulate sales after a sluggish 2015. Toyota and Daihatsu, two of the most popular car brands in Indonesia, introduced its two low-cost green car models Toyota Calya and Daihatsu Sigra — both are 7-seater multi-purpose vehicles — at the 2016 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show.
"The automotive industry is an important component for Indonesia's gross domestic product," he said, adding Gaikindo expects car sales to increase in the second half of this year. Gaikindo has set a target of up to 10 percent growth in car sales this year.
